Welcome to Landimpact
Landimpact has been operating in Adelaide's gardening and landscaping industry for over 35 years. Paul, Landimpact’s proprietor is passionate about gardening and horticulture and has extensive experience and formal training.
Our primary focus is designing and retrofitting existing gardens and spaces within gardens for growing food. To compliment this, we offer on-going support to ensure a more consistent and reliable harvest of fruit and veggies. Apart from the obvious ‘return on investment’ in the form of food, the greater consideration is to build longer term food security within the urban environment. Paul is supported by a small, dedicated team that provide gardening and horticultural services to Adelaide's eastern and north-eastern suburbs, and adjacent foothills.
Landimpact continuously strives to lower its carbon and ecological footprint and consciously employs strategies to mitigate emissions. These include;
- using battery operated equipment for all garden and lawn maintenance work
- use of only organic, non-chemical pest and weed sprays and that includes fertilisers
- encouraging customers to grow their own fruit and vegetables, and to compost food scraps and green waste for reuse in the garden
- separating waste generated on site and consciously recycling and/or reusing waste products where practical
- designing gardens to incorporate food growing with respect for the local environment, using minimal, low-impact approaches combined with limited inputs
- adopting Permaculture Ethics and Principles to guide the design process
